Skateboarders In Deluge

In 2022, the original "Deluge" was painted, being inspired by Greta Thunberg. The young people's involvement in tackling Climate Change brings real hope. But, not just the youthful energy and passion, but also audacity and boldness. The skateboarders in the middle of flooded streets is a metaphor of that bold-risk-taking just like Moses parting the Red Sea ( that was the original Deluge's theme ). Here in this new version, the three characters are the central theme. They are all people of color, suggesting the projection that the white race will be a minority by 2045 in the US.
