Waiting in the Jardin

I had been admiring the perfectly trimmed trees in the Jardin. I wanted to paint the plaza with these trees, but with a twist. Definitely some influence of Van Gogh or Gauguin here. Also, Pokemon Go had come out that early summer. Everywhere we go, we saw people preoccupied with their iPhones.
